Title update for Gears of War 2 Has Finally Been Released

A title update for Gears of War 2 has been released. Whilst I knew there were problems with the game, I didn't think there was this many! The update fixes a number of exploits with the title including:

* Crabwalking
* Invisibility
* Weapon-slide
* Melee through walls
* Unlimited ammo

And I've picked just a few of the many adjustments:

* General Fixes: Shotgun and Boomshot updates, meatshield chainsawing updates, team communication, Insane gamer picture award.

* Balancing: Planted proximity grenade updates, increased quitting penalties, spawn protection, flamethrower stopping power.

* Improvements: Annex uses execution rules, achievement progression in the War Journal, added 7 DLC-based achievements worth 175 GamerScore.

A full list of fixes can be found on the official forums and believe me, there are a lot!!!

This will be just the start of what theyll have to sort out, it's just a shame that they haven't changed the matchmaking options but at least theyre taking steps in the right direction

Sounds kinda gay. Should get their prioritys right and fix the shitty matchmaking first.

Gears Of War 2 was rushed and a game should never be rushed to meet a release date. Hopefully gaming companys will learn from this mistake and fix bugs and glitches before a game is released to the public.

They obviously know there are bugs and glitches there at first.

They have gamers testing games exstensively and review they so they should try fix them before they release the game.

They could at least have an update ready for xbox live if they dont put it on the disc.

Its a competitive market so theyll rush to get it out before other games to get a headstart on them, kinda like the xbox 360 really

And they actually were losing money for a little while as they had to repair alot of the first xboxs.

They only needed to use better heatsinks or apply a decent amount of thermal compound paste and they would have saved millions.

If GoW2 dont sort their act out then it might crash and burn i hope it doesnt though

I dont know, i think they might squeeze abit more money out of it before they let it fade into the pages of history
