Take Note!!

The UK charity Youth Music says that games like Guitar Hero have inspired 2.5 million British children to play real instruments. They claim that 19% of young musicians are inspired by music based games.

The kids might think its a good idea at the time but playing a real instrument is waaaaay harder than the music games and they take so much time and practice.

Ive played guitar hero and its pretty easy.

When i tryed to play a guitar it is nothing like it. Bull Shit as well that survey I reckon

I agree with you seano about real guitars being harder to play than the Guitar Hero game but i dont think young kids realise the difference and so they want to play a musical instrument as they believe they are going to be as good on real instruments as they are with playing Guitar Hero or Rock Band. I would like to see the statistics of the people who stopped playing a musical instrument after there first go at it, probably a lot of kids as it is then that they start to realise that playing a REAL guitar is much more harder and sofisticated than music games

True - kids will probs play on easy on xbox or ps3 as well so they wont be able to see how hard an instrument actually is.
