What's In Store
My own monthly round up of the best PSP stuff on Sony's PC store.
LocoRoco 2 (£19.99)
We're right in the middle of the coldest winter since 1873 (made up statistics, but you believed me, didnt you?) which means that if you so much look out the window, your fingers, toes and nose will turn black and drop off. So praise be you no longer have to leave the house for your copy of Sony's bouncy platformer. It's seriously heart-warming.
Super Stardust Expansion Pack (3.19)
Finished with Super Stardust already? Have you? Have you really? Lies! Get back onto your PSP and try out this expansion Pack, which bolts on three entirely new game modes-Survival, Bomber and Endless. Plus, there are two new pumping sound tracks too. Not bad for £3.19.
Brain Challenge (£7.99)
How much of your brain do you reckon you use on a daily basis? 94%? 45%? 6%? I dont know but i know a game that does and its ... Brain Challenge by Gameloft! It'll probe your mind in a non-obstrusive fashion, by bombarding you with a succession of logic, maths and memory tests and then tell you exactly how stupid/brainy you are.
Sim City 2000 (£6.29)
Older than you think, this one-it was originally released on PC in 1993 and this the PS1 version, dates back to 1996. You should be familiar with Sim City's create a city loving detail from scratch then get a bit bored and unleash a torrent full of natural disasters upon it's template by now-if your not, you're missing out on a slice of gaming history.
Command & Conquer Retaliation (£3.99)
More real-time strategy action from 1998. C&C Retaliation explores an alternate timeline where Hitler failed to rise to power, leading to a military tug-of-war between the Allies and the menacing Soviet Union. This version of the legendary Command & Conquer series may not be anything special, but the price is right.
