Tom Clancy's Endwar Endwar-cover

Another impressive game from Tom Clancy which sees you taking the role of a general different battlefields across the globe in real-time.

It is massively different to Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six because you're not really doing the fighting, you need to be quite the tactician to succeed at this game. You'll also need the right equipment; a must is the xbox live headset.
Voice recognition is a big part of this game as you can order your soldiers around the battlefield and tell them what to do, it's a very impressive feature and a new concept in the world of gaming that i am quite fond of.

Units gain experience as they are used in battle and Ubisoft does claim that the game is "completely controllable through voice commands."

There are 3 playable factions in EndWar and they each have different attributes which can give them an advantage in certain battles. Also the main character from Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, Scott Mitchell, makes an appearance as well as some other characters from some previous Rainbow Six games.

If you are interested in this game then you can download the demo from xbox live marketplace and this features the voice command so you can have some fun with that!

i think it might be early for its time, i tried out the voice command and it worked perfectly for me everytime

Post  Seano Fri Jan 30, 2009 1:31 pm

Its probably just me then.

It is obviously a poor seller as it has been reduced to £20 after the first month it was out.

Tom Clancy's Endwar Empty End War

this game just never appealed for me, i meen it had the Tom Clancy name which made everyone to give it so much hype but when i found out about the voice recognition feature i just though about how many times you say something and it does not recognise it or does something completely different. Its just one of them games that you either love or hate. Rolling Eyes
